We at Camms.College strive to make the experience of using your Camms software and learning about its beneficial features as seamless as possible. Therefore, we’ve compiled the information below for you who would like to make the most of our Single Sign-On (SSO) portal to bridge the gap between the software and learning about its capabilities. But that’s not all, there’s more.
SSO is a technology which merges several different application login screens into one. With SSO, a user only must enter their login credentials (username, password, etc.) one time on a single page to access all their SaaS applications. It’s a technique to streamline an otherwise tedious process, and it can now be activated for Camms.College too.
This is important because in order for you to experience the new in-app contextual learning feature, your SSO to Camms.College must be activated. As such, you can seamlessly move to the learning resources while working hands-on on the software.
We are excited to introduce to you our latest educational experience – Contextual learning – where a Camms product user can learn about the product while working on it. This in-app learning method allows users to learn and apply key takeaways while being on the software and put Camms capabilities to its maximum use.
For example, if you are a Camms.Risk user working on the Control Register of the product, you will now see an “i” icon, and if you click on this, it will preview a webinar or a specific learning collateral where you can learn more about the Control Register. That is not it, if you require further information, you can now effortlessly navigate to more-detailed learning content on Camms.College without needing to log in. As such, you can now gain more knowledge about the feature, be familiar with feature best practices and optimise the product to benefit your day-to-day work management in one go.
SSO allows you to log in to multiple applications within the Camms scope with just one set of credentials, thus streamlining the entire authentication process for users. It can be used as a central point of authentication using a single set of login credentials for providing access to all the different enterprise applications.
As mentioned, you can now effortlessly gain access to learning content on Camms.College from within the product itself as the SSO will log you in and direct you to the relevant learning whenever you require support.

The on-demand learning concept allows the users to access any learning resource as and when they want – from anywhere. This comes in handy if you are unsure of a feature in the platform. Because you can now simply let the popup lead you to the right resources to get information on how to use the feature. This doesn’t just save your time, but it also makes sure everything happening within the software is in sync.
You can easily navigate to Camms.College since the icon is directly visible on the SSO Portal. This means that all learning collateral available to you is just one click away. Users can seamlessly discover how to use the system and improve the uptake on their Camms software. This improves the return on investment on the Camms suite for your organisation.
With one place for password entry, SSO provides a way to easily enforce password security rules. For example, some companies require users to reset their passwords occasionally. With SSO, password resets are easier to execute, instead of endless password resets across several different apps and services, users only have one password to reset. This reduces password fatigue by having numerous different passwords to remember and enabling you to focus on more important tasks.
Productivity will be significantly improved when users do not have to keep entering their credentials to move from one application to another. Having to log in with several different usernames and passwords again and again across various services takes its toll.
