In business, any environment needs good leadership, but a high-performance environment needs great leadership that sits alongside outstanding business acumen.
In this session, we will delve into what a high-performance environment is, double down on the work required of leaders to enable it, and explore the following key elements that goes into building it.
We will also look at the commitment required of individuals in adopting an attitude that supports the cultivation of deep meaning within their work. More specifically, the attitudes aligned with personal responsibility, service and what it takes to develop and maintain a mindset based on pursuing excellence.
From humble beginnings growing up in Blacktown, to competing on the world stage across four Olympic Games, Dan Collins’ ongoing pursuit for excellence is nothing short of convincing. Since retiring from his Olympic quest for Gold in the sport of Kayaking, taking home both Silver and Bronse medals along with numerous World Championships, Dan has focused his energy on managing transformational, organisational change, driving accountability and performance in the corporate world.
Dan began his thought leadership unbeknownst to him when he tested his performance concepts in the cut and thrust of elite sport within the Australian Institute of Sport, Australian Football League, National Rugby League and International Rugby. He now works with organisations in creating a culture of accountability and winners at all levels.
